OLE Rwanda is planning a teacher training (for open education resources) from 17th to 23rd May 2010
OLE Rwanda is planning teacher training from 17th to 23rd May 2010. Open education resources, an offline library and a ladder access model shall improve the quality of Education in 2010.
OLE Rwanda is working with EPAK School to align Siyavula education materials to the curriculum of Rwanda and adapt the resources for the rest of the 2010 Schoolyear. A Schoolserver avails Siyavula resources (Maths and English) to all children of P4 to P6. The library software facilitates access to numerous resources and a ladder access model helps teachers and students to identify teaching and learning activities for a particular week and month of the School year. The benefit of using a ladder access approach is for planning reasons to achieve outcomes and to easily access and use resources.
OLE Rwanda shall train teachers from 17th to 23rd May 2010; the training shall focus on accessing and using a library and the ladder access approach on the Schoolserver. The training shall also inform the use of Siyavula materials and help to identify extra education resources to reinforce specific activities.
