Siyavula free education resources are responding to education needs of Teachers and Students in Primary Schools of Kigali City/Rwanda. Open Learning Exchange (OLE) has an understanding with Shuttleworth foundation/ South Africa to use Siyavula education resources in different countries in which it operates.

OLE Rwanda has distributed localized Primary one Math book to several Teachers in different Schools of Kigali City. Schools still lack Quality Education resources in English. Siyavula education resources are outcome based resources and methodologies and are hybrid resources that can be used in electronic and printable formats.
OLE Rwanda has donated a Schoolserver to EPAK Primary School (School having 350 One laptop per Child, OLPC devices) and is uploading content and training teachers to use education resources (Math and English) on OLPC for three grades (Primary 4 to Primary 6). Siyavula educational resources will be distributed in printable format for Primary One (P1) to Primary three (P3).
